"hiccups"

there is no hidden meaning
behind this
I am just sitting at my desk
cluttered
even though i cleaned
yesterday

and
the hiccups
are certainly distracting me
from the "to do"
list i still need to write...

when i open my mouth wide,
i can hear each
surprising STACATTO spasm

of my diaphragm . . .
